Formula's China factory was founded in January of 2001. It has a total area of 10,000 square meters including four production buildings comprising half the total area, and an office building and dormitories in the other half. Formula China began production and shipping in June of 2001. Formula China is a professional bicycle hubs manufacturer. The four main products are: primary alloy hubs, cassette freehubs, disc hubs, and steel hubs. The majority of items produced have been cassette freehubs and disc hubs. Currently, Formula China has complete systems in place for manufacturing hubs, including automatic alloy cutting machines, 3D forging machines, stamping machines, CNC machines, machinery centers, heat treatment ovens (for both T4 and T6), assembly lines, and more. Approximately 90% of all parts are made in house. Formula China also has an independent quality control department with a complete QC system in place. This includes hardness testers, torque meters, pulling force meters, and other exclusive gauges and testing machines.
Formula China has extended the brand image and enterprise culture of Formula Taiwan with a strict approach to quality and administration systems. Formula Taiwan has transferred all of its quality concepts and business direction to Formula China since its foundation. Because of this, Formula China has been able to build up its own reputation as a professional bicycle hub manufacturer in the shortest time. To date, there are 128 well-trained team members on Formula China's production line, and the monthly capacity has surpasses 500,000 hubs. |
